Happy Visits

The Canadian Dental Association recommends a child’s first dental assessment within six months of the eruption of his/her first tooth or by the age of one. Although new people, surroundings and tools can be a little intimidating for youngsters, the Design Dentistry team works to make your child’s dental visits a happy experience.

During the first visit, our team will introduce your child to dentistry in a fun, interactive way. We’ll show your child how the dental chair works, explain what some of the tools are used for and encourage them to open their mouth so we can take a look inside.

Subsequent visits will include looking for early signs of tooth decay, providing minor treatments such as fluoride application and talking about any concerns you may have regarding your child’s oral health. Our kind, gentle team will ensure your child’s visits are as comfortable and positive as possible.
